Apple Pay and Google Pay now available for webshops

These relatively new payment methods are known as wallet payments: payments made through a virtual wallet. Their advantage is that customers can use their wallet account instead of entering bank details at every online shop.

Which payment methods are available?

Many payment methods are available, including iDEAL, Bancontact and credit cards. These are not wallet payment methods, so we will not cover them here. Below is an overview of the available wallet options.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay is Apple’s international mobile payment service. It gives customers an easy, secure way to pay using the Apple devices they already use every day, including an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or MacBook.

Google Pay™

Google Pay offers users a fast, secure payment experience both online and in shops. Customers no longer need to insert a bank card into a payment terminal: they can pay with their smartphone.
