Google Analytics 4

Google has offered a new version of Analytics since 2020. The original and new versions have operated alongside each other, but Analytics 4 will eventually replace Universal Analytics. The announced date for this change is 1 July 2023.

This does not mean immediate loss of access to the old application. It means that statistics will stop being measured there from that date. To continue measuring them, you need to switch to Google Analytics 4 before the deadline. At the time of this announcement, access to the old version was expected to remain available for at least another six months.

If you use Universal Analytics, we recommend switching as soon as possible. The transition is relatively straightforward, and many websites provide a complete guide, including Frankwatching.
