The BigBase Sabrage Workshop!

Our first BigBase Sabrage Workshop was a real success! After several weeks of preparation, 27 May was the moment of truth. Who would successfully open a bottle with a sabre, and who would have less luck?

The goal was a sociable afternoon and evening with our loyal business contacts, enjoying a delicious cold glass of sparkling wine. The bottles were chilled well in advance to reach the right temperature for sabrage. Not sure what sabrage is? Read more here.

We decorated the venue in style and prepared the food and snacks with care. Once the first guests had arrived and enjoyed their first drinks, the sabrage began!

After a thorough explanation from none other than Vincent, the first bottle was opened.
